One retired detective I spoke with thought Lori's death was accidental and her body was dumped

to cover-up that accident.  Her cause of death was different than the known causes of death

for the other victims.  And she was not bound with rope like the others.

Epilogue

 

Lori was survived by her mother and stepfather, her father, five brothers and a sister.  Her mother

and stepfather have since passed away.  Her younger brother, Ron, Jr., was killed

while trying to "hop" a freight train six-and-a-half years after her death.
